	Meet the Owner

Amber Sutton has always had a passion for animals and a desire to work with them. She's spent several years volunteering at a Washington, D.C. rescue league and has always found the work rewarding. It was only natural for her to seek out a new career where she could combine her business skills with her love for animals. By chance she discovered Dogtopia while helping a friend find a place to board her dog. She was instantly impressed by the concept and set out to visit all of the locations in the area. After touring the locations and meeting the staff she decided it was a perfect fit and signed on to open her own Dogtopia. Open for almost a year, Amber enjoys the challenges of opening/owning her business and most of all enjoys handing a tired dog to their owner at the end of the day! Amber is passionate about her charitable work with rescues and looks forward to continuing those efforts through the business.

Amber currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her cat Zadie and her dog Zeke. Zadie was found by Amber's mother and sister and he instantly won a place in her heart and Zeke is a happy Australian Shepherd who found his forever home with Amber after being rescued by the Washington Animal Rescue League. In her free time she enjoys travel, her bookclub and taking dance classes.
