About Us
Acting as a caretaker comes naturally to Helen Jones. She was inspired to open a dog daycare after years of experience as a physical therapy tech. Helen and her husband Don brought four dogs into their home as their children left for college.
Not only is Helen looking forward to owning a new business, but she also sees this as an opportunity to work with the local animal rescue community by hosting events to promote awareness for animal adoption and inspiring volunteerism.
Helen and Don currently live in Wilmington with their four dogs, Finnegan, Huckleberry, Sawyer and Sammie, who will spend their days at Dogtopia. While at home with their "dog family", they enjoy hikes, park runs, and taking them on vacation several times a year to Vermont for swimming, boating and relaxing. Several of their 7 children have been involved in the planning and execution of the new business and will be involved in the day to day operation of Dogtopia, Wilmington.

Dog Daycare Staff:
Position involves managing the daycare playrooms. Responsibilities include supervising the dogs for appropriate play and maintaining a safe and clean environment. We have two shifts available: 7am - 3pm (our morning shift) or 1pm - 8pm (our afternoon shift). Please note that we are not hiring temporary or summer help.
