Dogtopia® is pleased to offer training classes in our facility through both K9mutt Training and Cedar Hill Training Center.
K9mutt is dedicated to creating good relationships between dogs and their owners. We specialize in family dogs, shelter and rescue dogs and special needs families. No family dynamic is the same and the learning for both humans and dogs need to reflect that difference.
K9mutt Training is owned and operated by Sandy Wittliff. Sandy is a professional member of International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), certified trainer and evaluator of animal assisted therapy animals for Delta Society and the developer, behavior consultant and trainer for Second Chance University at Waco Humane Society. Sandy additionally is a diagnostian for GAP, Gifted Animal Placement, which searches shelters for dogs that rather than be euthanized will be able to be put to work as detection, SARS, and service animals.

Cedar Hill Training Center utilizes a positive reinforcement training method, designed to facilitate the bond between you and your dog. Trainer, Pat Turnage, has been training dogs for over 30 years. She works from the belief that proper training is a crucial part of a long term, happy relationship between pets and their owners. Every dog is different, as are their owners, so their training is customized to meet your needs.
