Kay and Patrick Moody faced the same conundrum many doggy parents face when forced to leave their dogs for any period of time... they had to find the perfect place to board them. After weeks of research and countless facility tours, they continued to have trouble finding a place where their dogs would not be crated or stuck in a dog run, but could play freely with other dogs for most of the day. They also desired a facility with webcams to check in on their dogs while they were away. Watching their dogs have a great time would definitely cut down on the guilt factor of having to leave them behind. Their search lead them to Dogtopia, but unfortunately there wasn't one in their area.

Shortly thereafter, with the support of her husband Patrick, Kay decided to leave her 15 year career as a legal secretary to open her very own Dogtopia. They are thrilled to bring the high-end dog daycare and spa to the Temecula Valley and provide this sorely needed service. Because Kay and Patrick had such high standards for just the right facility for their dogs, they are in a perfect position to provide you with the quality dog care that you expect for your babies.

Kay and Patrick are the proud parents of Border Collie mixes, Bella and Madison. Both were adopted from the Maricopa County Animal Shelter. Their Border Collie lineage is very apparent in their energetic and playful natures. They love being around other dogs and can't wait to meet and welcome yours!

Kay will oversee the day-to-day operations of the center. She acquired degrees in both Business Management and Paralegal Studies. Patrick will manage the center part-time as he continues his Engineering career. Both Kay and Patrick are Certified Pet Care Technicians certified through Pet Care Services Association (PCSA).
