About Us
 Owner of Dogtopia® of San Marcos, Diane Wheeler, always had a strong entrepreneurial spirit and knew she wanted to own her own business. Diane was a seasoned pharmaceutical marketing research consultant, but she has always had a passion to work with animals. In particular she wanted to work with dogs. Diane looked into many types of dog-related businesses, including retail. But she soon realized there was little interaction with dogs. After further searching the animal industry, she found Dogtopia® - a hands-on dog day care concept that also provides retail services in its boutique.
Diane could think of no better area to open than San Marcos. She's thrilled to be able to provide local dog owners with peace of mind, knowing their dogs is happy and safe while they are at work or on vacation.
Diane resides in San Marcos with her dogs Annie and Timber. Diane loves spending time with friends and family, hiking and kayaking with her dogs, and also enjoys traveling.

Dog Daycare Staff:
Position involves managing the daycare playrooms. Responsibilities include supervising the dogs for appropriate play and maintaining a safe and clean environment. We have two shifts available: 7am - 3pm (our morning shift) or 1pm - 8pm (our afternoon shift). Please note that we are not hiring temporary or summer help.
