The opening of their Dogtopia in Land O' Lakes, FL is the realization of a 5 year dream for Diane Heath and Kirsty Radley of London.

Not long ago, the two picked up a book on franchising that mentioned a franchise expo in Miami, FL. As fate would have it, it was during a trip to Florida they'd already planned. Two members of the Dogtopia team were in attendance that weekend and Kirsty and Diane had a chance to speak with them at length. They were pleased by what they learned and set off to become more familiar with the Dogtopia concept.

After much research they found the vision and values of the company were a perfect match for their own goals. They were also impressed by Dogtopia's focus on charitable efforts; locally, in each community, as well as with its own charity, K9 Support.

Diane and Kirsty previously worked as administrative support staff for the Metropolitan Police Service in London. The move to the US from the United Kingdom is a big change, but they fell in love with the Tampa area after visiting many times. They purchased a home and Kirsty even completed a student exchange program at the University of South Florida.

They both look forward to providing area dog parents with peace of mind, knowing their dogs are in a safe, healthy and happy environment while they are away for the day or for a vacation. They are also quite excited about having a chance to work with charitable organizations and causes in the area to give back to the community.

Kirsty and Diane will reside in Land O' Lakes with their two 'kids', George, a 9-year old Rottweiler/Collie mix and Jasper, an 11-year old domestic shorthair cat.
