Training & On-going Support

Dogtopia® requires all franchisees to participate in a comprehensive training course that lasts approximately two weeks. We begin by focusing on actual playroom management including dog behavior, pack management and general care of the dogs. It is of the utmost importance that every dog in our care be taken care of exactly as they are at home. We then move into business management training to include your financial reports, customer service aspects, HR and payroll.

Dogtopia® provides onsite support prior to your Grand Opening. The goal of the onsite support is to not only assist with facility layout and construction, but also to further develop your marketing efforts. Periodic visits will occur throughout the course of the franchise term and are designed to provide operational assistance and guidance in various aspects of your business. Also, your confidential Dogtopia® Operations Manual contains specifications, standards, operating procedure and suggestions to aid you in the operation of your Dogtopia®. All of our standards, guidelines, marketing collateral and more are also on the Dogtopia Intranet. The Intranet hosts discussion boards, calendars, photos, and even an online Dogtopia store!
