Puppy Power
For the bundles of energy known as puppies, Dogtopia® is a place to learn social skills with a variety of other dogs that will help them grow into a well-adjusted adult dog. From their older peers they learn the appropriate way to greet, initiate play and proper "doggie manners", such as when another dog would like to play or prefers to be left alone.
The mental stimulation provided by daycare is also a wonderful way to curb that natural puppy curiosity, the type that leads to an interesting shoe becoming a chew toy.

Terrible Twos
Parents of adolescent dogs find daycare gives them a welcomed outlet for excess enthusiasm. This energy can be the cause of common behavioral issues like barking, jumping, chewing, digging and even separation anxiety. Without a positive way to express that energy, some dogs release it through these destructive actions.
Dogtopia caters to dogs that attend daycare daily, as well as those whose owners choose to bring them weekly or monthly. Each day they'll leave content and tired. A well-exercised dog is a happy dog!

The Golden Years
Senior dogs are always welcome at daycare; we simply cannot resist a pup with a little gray around the muzzle.
As dogs age, activity and exercise become less of a focus. Just like humans, this can lead to an unhealthy weight and adverse health effects. Carrying this extra weight places additional stress on a dog's heart and may also lead to joint and hip pain.
Not only is getting up and moving good for older dogs (it keeps them young!), but they enjoy the companionship of their fellow canines and our loving staff. A belly rub or scratch of the head is appreciated at any age!
The play of our senior friends is monitored to avoid overexertion and naptime each day offers a rest period.

Big-Boned
Admittedly it can be difficult to resist a dog with a few extra pounds on them. Many chubby dogs are downright cute! But the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention estimates that 55% of our canine companions are overweight or obese and carrying that extra weight can be costly for your dog. Similar to the ailments faced by humans, these dogs are at an increased risk of heart disease, diabetes, arthritis and other debilitating diseases.
A lack of exercise is a contributing factor to obesity, but we know how difficult it can be to find time for a long walk or visit to the dog park in the middle of a hectic work week. During a day of play in Dogtopia's daycare your dog will have several hours of activity, receiving both a physical and mental work-out! Dogtopia playrooms provide the perfect space for them to run, jump and play those pounds away!
If you have concerns about your dog's health, consult your veterinarian to learn their ideal body weight and how to build the best plan for weight loss.

Dog Daycare
What's your dog doing all day? In most cases the answer is saving all their energy for when you get home! They've spent all day just waiting for you and once you arrive... they're ready to play! Even those that aren't bursting with energy can become bored and lonely when left alone all day.
Dog daycare is the answer! Drop your dog off at Dogtopia® and he'll spend the day socializing with other dogs, interacting with our well-trained staff and burning off energy. At the end of the day, you'll pick-up a happy (and tired) pup.
Some dogs visit every day; others just a couple of times a month. Every dog is unique and we're happy to discuss the best play schedule to suit your dog's needs, as well as your busy schedule, budget and life-style.
Whether your dog's full of PUPPY POWER, experiencing their TERRIBLE TWOS, into their GOLDEN YEARS or perhaps a little BIG-BONED, daycare holds many benefits. Click a title to learn more or find your nearest Dogtopia now.
