About Us
An unstoppable team, Sue and Ron Dietrich have an unparalleled love for dogs and the enthusiasm it takes to own a business. Their Dogtopia® of Clarksville provides a safe and fun atmosphere for dogs to socialize, exercise and play with other dogs and a caring staff.
Sue and Ron recognize the growing need for pet care in the Howard County region and are excited to serve their neighbors with this personalized service.
Sue, originally from Silver Spring, MD and a former pet sitter in Howard County, knows from experience the importance of nurturing dogs and is committed to providing the quality care they deserve. Since his childhood in Elkridge, MD, Ron has never seen a day without a dog by his side. Now, he can look forward to even more days spent with dogs as he serves their needs and those of owners just like him.
Sue currently manages the franchise. She earned her undergraduate degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and went on to earn her MBA from Loyola College. Ron assists part-time as he continues his career with the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company as a Distribution Designer.
Ron and Sue reside in Clarksville, MD with their son, Eric, daughter, Samantha, and their four dogs: Minnie, a Boston Terrier, Bambi, a Pug, and Maggie & Mollie, their two Italian greyhounds.

Dog Daycare Staff:
Position involves managing the daycare playrooms. Responsibilities include supervising the dogs for appropriate play and maintaining a safe and clean environment. We have two shifts available: 7am - 3pm (our morning shift) or 1pm - 8pm (our afternoon shift). Please note that we are not hiring temporary or summer help.
